Sample Return

Returning your gently used samples allows them to be reused. We make it easy with free return labels for US domestic shipping. Please review our return guidelines below and generate your shipping label if you have samples eligible for return.

Tips for Returning Samples

At Designtex, we’re committed to sustainability across all areas of our business. We encourage the return of samples that are no longer in use so they can be restocked. Please note that the mailer you receive our samples in is 100% recyclable.

  • The More, the Better

    Aggregate samples from your project or office and send them in one large shipment. Shipping one large shipment versus several small ones is more sustainable.

  • First Quality Samples

    Please consider the condition of the sample before starting a return. We accept samples in great condition that have not been altered, are not folded, creased or soiled and have tags intact and fully attached without markings or creases.

  • Consider Local Donation

    If you aren’t returning your samples to us, please consider donating them in your local area. Some organizations that accept and encourage textile donations are: The Salvation Army, Project Linus, Goodwill, school art programs, senior and community centers.

  • Ready to Ship?

Sampling FAQs

No. Our samples are free and we offer free shipping.

We offer Ground, 2-Day and Overnight shipping. At checkout, you can see an estimate of when your sample will arrive by viewing the shipping map. This will be based on your location.

Sample orders that are in stock and placed by 5:00pm EST will ship the same day. Sample orders placed after 5:00pm EST will ship the next business day.

If you placed your order online, log into your account and view the tracking information in your order history. If you placed your order by phone or email, you can reach out to your sales representative or contact us by phone at 800.221.1540 or via our contact form. If you placed your order with Mercato Place, please request the tracking details from them directly.

Digital Studio and Custom samples are produced on demand and shipped separately, with slightly longer lead times.

Product specifications can change over time so please refer to the specifications stated on the website for the most up-to-date information.

If you don’t see the product you’re looking for, it is unfortunately a discontinued item. Please contact us to check for any remnant stock or to see if it can be produced for a minimum order quantity. Please contact your sales representative for further assistance.
